Her birthplace was Roswell on March 29, 1985. Gerina Michelle was her maiden name. Gerina Stevenson's parents were Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. The mother of two is a Mexican by blood however she has an American nationality. Ever since she was young she's always been attracted to sports. Gerina began playing golf when she was just 15 years old. Gerina went to Goddard High School. When she was in high school, she took home the New Mexico state golf tournament. She also played volleyball at the level of state. She attended Texas's University of Texas, Texas, for the 2003 academic year. While in her senior years she took home the top prize in every competition that was entered. Through her college years, she received her Conference USA Player of The Year award and the Female UTEP Sports Athletics Award.
