Jenna Fischer's most recognizable role is that of Pam Beesly in the highly loved television series The Office. The actress won two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her stellar performance on an ensemble comedy.
Born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she was raised at St. Louis Missouri. Jenna observed as her mom Anne took part in plays at church. The passion for performing and theater was instilled at a very teenager.
Theater actress with training, Fischer returned to her roots following the completion of The Office. She starred with Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway play Reasons to be Happy. Then, she starred in Steve Martin's new production Meteor Shower. Angela Kinsey from The Office (the cast mate of Fischer) as well as her real life best friend, Angela Kinsey from The Office, started a podcast in October, called Office Ladies. The show has grown in popularity and has landed in the Top Ten every single week. Its initial year, it had more than 200,000,000 downloads. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Years award in January of 2021.
The Actor's Life The Actor's Life is her first novel, and describes the path she traveled from St. Louis, Missouri to Hollywood, where she became an actress professionally. The second book, Office BFF's (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) is an autobiography about her best friend as well as their time at The Office.
